Is this a real, dedicated mini?
Yes. Each rental is assigned to an individual physical machine. Hardware specifications are shown before you request it. Your account is a standard user account; administrator access is not included.
Where are the machines?
Our rental machines are physically in Delaware, United States. Your connection goes to that location, even if our website is hosted elsewhere.
How do monthly, quarterly, and annual plans work?
Monthly terms use the standard monthly rate. Pay three months upfront to save 10%, or twelve months upfront to save 20%. Your paid period begins when your access is delivered. If you opt in to renewal, the same term renews at the amount shown in Billing.
How do I stop my subscription?
Open Dashboard → Billing and turn off renewal before the next renewal date. You retain access until your paid period ends. Download your files before that date. Turning off renewal does not erase your files immediately or request a refund.
Why does every mini have an animal name?
Animal names belong to individual machines, not product categories. Otter is an M1 Mac mini. Future machines have their own names. You can request a different available name through your dashboard; we'll coordinate the change.
Can I connect from China?
You can use standard SSH and compatible remote-desktop clients from wherever your network permits them. Speed and availability vary by internet provider and route. We cannot promise a particular latency or uninterrupted access from every network.
What happens when a category is fully booked?
Choose “Notify me,” confirm your email, and we'll send one availability alert when a machine in that category is available. An alert does not reserve a machine or charge you.
How are payments handled?
Online checkout is being prepared with Stripe for Pipkin AI. Until payments open, requests do not charge you. Once enabled, payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted page; your account is delivered within 2 business days after payment is verified.
